Our Solid-Fuel Heating Safety & Control System comes complete with flow & return pipe thermostats, mounting springs, cable ties and comprehensive installation and operating instruction booklet. It is suitable for DIY installation. Heat-resisting cable is available from our showroom. The control box is designed & manufactured in the UK.

REMEMBER - Suppliers cannot usually guarantee the boiler in a solid fuel stove or cooker unless a safety device such as the ABERSTOVES unit is fitted to prevent rapid rusting of the boiler metalwork.

FEATURES

1. To prevent water in your solid fuel central heating system from boiling and thus offer protection against the dangerous consequences of confined boiling water and pressurised steam. These consequences range from irritating pipe "hammering" and leaking joints to the melting of plastic water tanks which could cause flooding.

2. Chimney fires are less likely to occur. Hot roaring fires which usually ignite chimney soot will automatically operate the heating system to dissipate excess heat.

3. To prevent the rapid rusting through of boilers in stoves and cookers. This is caused by pumping cold water through the appliance where moisture from air in the house can readily condense into water drops on the boiler metal. A leaking boiler is costly to replace and even impossible to renew in some types of stove.

4. Convenient and flexible control of your heating. The unit may simply be used alone or with heating programmer clocks which allow preset ON and OFF times. The unit is also compatible with standard wall-mounted room thermostats which automatically keep your house roughly at a desired temperature.
